Opportunities with the Consultation tool
Consulting the tool will provide the cheapest and sufficiently efficient options for weed control, adjusted for conditions in your fields. You only need to know your field and your weeds.
Consultation contains the following features:
- you can see the available herbicides and the necessary dose rates
- you can see if mechanical control options are available
- your can minimize the costs
- you can leave it to IPMwise to decide efficacy targets for your weeds (IPM)
- you can enter your own efficacy targets e.g. when you prepare for a succeding crop for production of seeds, where certain standards for purity must be met
- you can see the expected effiacy on your weeds
- you can prevent/delay development of herbicide resistance
- you can see weed species considered to be particularly exposed to development of herbicide resistance against specific herbicide mode-of-actions (MOA)
- you can get recommendations for control of already resistant biotypes of weeds
- you can design your own strategy to avoid herbicide resistance by avoiding selected herbicide MOAs
- you can control extreme weed infestations (high weed densities, late weed growth stages)
If you have a Pro Plus subscription, you can also limit the selection of herbicides to the assortment, you already have in stock / surplus stock to avoid long lists of treatment options, you do not use anyway. A drawback of such reduced herbicide lists may occacionally be that IPMwise cannot find treatment options. In such cases, you may use the link to the tool named
